Waste management business alleges carpet company owes nearly $5,500

GRETNA – A waste management business is suing a carpet company, alleging unpaid services.

Waste Management of Louisiana LLC filed a suit Jan. 20 against Integrity Carpet Inc., doing business as Integrity Flooring, in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

According to the claim, Waste Management provided waste removal services to Integrity Flooring. The suit states the defendant had agreed to pay the plaintiff for its services but has failed to do so. The lawsuit states the costs have accumulated to $5,487.31 and Integrity Flooring has failed to pay the plaintiff in a timely manner.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney Benjamin D. Jones of Ottinger Hebert LLC in Lafayette.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott U. Schlegel.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 768321.
