Bank alleges customer owes nearly $51,00 on overdue promissory note

NEW ORLEANS – A bank is suing an Orleans Parish couple, seeking nearly $51,000 for an unpaid promissory note.

First NBC Bank filed a lawsuit Jan. 20 against Nancy K. Ross Parker, wife of, and Duane R. Parker in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging failure to pay off a promissory note.

According to the complaint, First NBC is the holder of a promissory note for the balance of $44,000. The suit says the Parkers were required to make regular payments on the promissory note but failed to do so and are still indebted to the plaintiff for $50,951.61, plus interest and other fees.

First NBC Banks seeks all money owed, reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by Jeffrey K. Clement Jr., Gregory St. Angelo and Bradley St. Angelo, attorneys for First NBC Bank. 

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Paulette R. Irons.
