NEW ORLEANS – An Orleans Parish cleaning company is suing a Jefferson Parish customer, alleging she owes more than $8,000.

AdvantaClean of Metro New Orleans LLC filed a lawsuit Jan. 27 against Kelly G. Burkenstock in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging breach of contract and an open account.

According to the complaint, Burkenstock sought out AdvantaClean's services for cleaning and restoration of her home at 4520 Yale St., Metairie. The suit says Burkenstock's home had suffered from water damages and she agreed to contract the plaintiff to complete the duties necessary.

The lawsuit states AdvantaClean delivered the services to Burkenstock and sent its invoices for $8,317.39, but the defendant has failed to pay the plaintiff what it is owed.

AdvantaClean of Metro New Orleans seeks the money owed, reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. It is represented by attorneys Adam M. Vickers and Cara Stone of New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Paulette. R. Irons.
