NEW ORLEANS – A community college is seeking damages for sums due.
Louisiana Community and Technical College System through Delgado Community College filed a lawsuit Jan. 26 against Kayla Elizabeth Edelmann and CSC Investments LLC as garnishee in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging sums due.
According to the complaint, the defendant became indebted to the plaintiff for the sum of $1,320 plus fees and interest. The suit states that the plaintiff has reason to believe that the defendant is employed by or owed funds by CSC Investments LLC and is seeking garnishment of the funds due.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Rokeya J. Morris of Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern A. Reese.
