GRETNA – A community college is suing a student, alleging failure to pay more than $1,300.
Louisiana Community and Technical College System, through Delgado Community College, filed a suit Feb. 7 against William Huff Crull in 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.
According to the claim, the college allowed Crull to attend its institution for the spring 2013 semester. The suit states the defendant accumulated $1,327.10 in charges and failed to pay off the balance.
Delgado Community College seeks all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by assistant state attorney general Scott L. Smith Jr. of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Raymond S. Steib Jr.
