GRETNA – A community college is suing a former student, alleging she owes nearly $800.
Louisiana Community and Technical College System, through Delgado Community College, filed a suit Feb. 10 against Talecia Spurlock in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.
According to the claim, the college allowed Spurlock to attend its institution for the fall 2014 semester. The suit states she has failed to pay off the balance accumulated of $777.12.
Delgado Community College seeks all sums due and and court costs. It is represented by attorney Wendy Ranmarine of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.
