Architectural firm alleges shipbuilder owes more than $50,000

NEW ORLEANS – A Jefferson Parish architectural company is suing a shipbuilder, alleging it owes more than $52,000.

Mino Marine LLC filed a lawsuit Feb. 14 against New Generation Shipbuilding LLC in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the complaint, Mino Marine provided its services to New Generation that totaled a balance of $52,467.50. The suit says the defendant has failed to pay the plaintiff for services issued.

Mino Marine seeks all money owed, reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. It is represented by attorney Bradley J. Chauvin of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Clare Jupiter.
