Midland funding sues over overdue Visa account

GRETNA – A Marrero man is being taken to court over a $1,700 Visa debt.

Midland Funding LLC filed a suit Feb. 17 against Alexander Griffith in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the defendant has come to owe the plaintiff a balance of $1,714.69 and has failed to pay off the balance despite amicable demand.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Gregory Eaton, J. Marron Monsour and Michael Lancaster of Easton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn Ansardi.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 769196.
