Funding company alleges customer owes more than $1,000

GRETNA – A funding company is suing a Terrytown woman, alleging she owes more than $1,000.

Midland Funding LLC filed a suit Feb. 17 against Noreen Matthews in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging sums due.

According to the claim, Matthews accumulated a balance of $1,083.82 on her JC Penney account and has yet to pay the full balance to the plaintiff.

Midland Funding seeks all sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorneys Gregory M. Eaton, J. Marron Monsour and Michael L. Lancaster of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 769249.
