Bar owner alleges work on property never completed

GRETNA – A Metairie bar is suing a construction company, alleging failure to complete work.

Dobo Restaurant Group LLC, doing business as Ugly Dog Saloon in Metairie, and Jeffrey Bordelon filed a suit March 8 against Crescent Sun Construction Consulting LLC and Buford Wayne Williams Jr., in 24th Judicial District Court, alleging breach of contract.

According to the claim, Bordelon hired Crescent Sun to complete certain repairs on his new property at 3020 Severn Ave., Metairie The suit states the defendant failed to perform the duties it was supposed to, even after being paid $7,396.11. The defendant has additionally failed to return the plaintiff's calls, the lawsuit states.

Crescent Sun Construction is accused of fraud, breach of contract, failing to complete the job in a timely fashion and damages to the plaintiff.

The plaintiffs seek damages, attorney fees and court costs. They are represented by attorney Melvin N. Cade of New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott U. Schlegel.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 769745.
