Company alleges media business has not completed work

NEW ORLEANS – An investment company is suing a media business, alleging funds paid and services that we not received.

Bibideaux Investments LLC, Nicholas Cafritz and Robert Peterson filed a lawsuit March 7 against Aristocracy Media Services LLC of California and Mahes Nirosan Abeysinghe Arachchige Appubany, also known as Damien Gregory, in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging breach of contract and fraud.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs paid Aristocracy Media $25,000 for consulting services for the production of a film. The suit states the defendants failed to fulfill their requirements under the agreement and have failed to return the funds, despite the plaintiffs' demands.

The plaintiffs seeks all sums owed, damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. It is represented by attorney Kent Barnett of Intellectual Property Consulting LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Ethel S. Julien.
