NEW ORLEANS – PNC Bank is taking court action for payment of a promissory note.
PNC Bank National Association filed a lawsuit March 9 against Sarah E. Ackerman in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging sums due.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is the holder of a promissory note for the balance of $220,000. The suit states that the defendant executed the promissory note for the payment of a mortgage and should have been paying off the note in monthly installments. But the defendant failed to make the necessary payments and is now indebted to the plaintiff for the balance of $174,075.49 plus interest and fees, the complaint said.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Rader Jackson of Jackson & McPherson in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Piper Griffin.
