GRETNA – IberiaBank claims that it was never paid for a promissory note involving a mortgage debt.
IberiaBank filed a suit March 10 against Scott B. Fisher in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging sums due.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is the holder of a promissory note for the balance of $110,953. The suit states that the defendant failed to pay off the balance of the note in a timely manner and is still indebted to the plaintiff for $103,121.50 plus interest and fees.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Daniel Reed of Seale, Smith, Zuber & Barnette LLP in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.
