GRETNA – An investment company is seeking damages for more than $5,000 over an outstanding loan.
Velocity Investments LLC filed a suit March 10 against Jolynn Lazard, a Harvey resident, in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging sums due.
According to the claim, the defendant accumulated a balance of $5,012.70 on a loan note account and has failed to pay off the balance or the interest.
The defendant is accused of failing to pay off the sums due.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Gregory Eaton, J. Marron Monsour and Michael Lancaster of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry Sullivan Jr.
