GRETNA – A mortgage corporation is seeking more than $100,000 due from a promissory note.
Standard Mortgage Corp. filed a suit March 14 against Denisah Maria Green of Jefferson Parish in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging sums due.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is the holder of a promissory note for the balance of $111,596. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay off the note in a timely manner and is still indebted to the plaintiff for $102,561.12 plus interest and fees.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Louis Graham Arceneaux of Graham, Arceneaux & Allen LLC in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Stephen Enright Jr.
