Wells Fargo seeks nearly $180,000 over unpaid note

NEW ORLEANS – Wells Fargo Bank is seeking damages for an unpaid note.

Wells Fargo Bank Bank N.A. filed a lawsuit March 7 against Jason Webster Hillyard, also known as Jason W. Hillyard and Jason Hillyard, and Diana Vega in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging sums due.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is the holder of promissory note for the balance of $191,400. The suit states that the defendants have failed to pay off the balance of the note and are still indebted to the plaintiff for the balance of $178,171.46, plus interest and fees

The defendant is accused of not paying a promissory note.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Corey Giroir of the Law Offices of Herschel C. Adcock Jr., in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern Reese.
