First NBC Bank seeks damages over unpaid mortgage

GRETNA – First NBC Bank is seeking damages for an unpaid mortgage balance.

First NBC Bank filed a suit March 16 against Kenner residents Frank J. Adolph and Chantel Michel Adolph in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is the holder of a credit agreement and disclosure for the balance of $250,000. The suit states that the defendants were to make regular payments on the balance but failed to keep up with them. The agreement was renewed in June 2011 for the balance of $350,000 and again in January 2015 for $475,000, the complaint said. The defendants allegedly have failed to pay the plaintiff what is remaining in the amount of $498,930.51.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Barry Grodsky of Taggart Morton LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 770013.
