GRETNA – Capital One is seeking damages for an open account of more than $8,000.
Capital One Bank (USA) N.A. filed a suit March 8 against Robin E. Jackson of New Orleans in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.
According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant. Jackson then used the card to make $8,028.65 in purchases but failed to pay off the balance of the card, according to the complaint.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jeffrey M. Toepfer of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Michael P. Mentz.
