Man claims he was not paid for consulting work

NEW ORLEANS – A man is seeking damages for an unpaid balance for services provided.

Nick Michalisin filed a lawsuit March 14 against Warren Green Jr. in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging open account.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff entered into an agreement with the defendant in March 2014, in which the defendant agreed to pay the plaintiff for his consulting services. The suit states that the defendant agreed to pay $130,000 for the work the plaintiff provided, but has failed to make timely payments and enough payments.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Ryan P. Monsour of Chehardy, Sherman, Williams, Murray, Recile, Stakelum & Hayes LLP in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Tiffany G. Chase.
