GRETNA – Bank of America N.A. is seeking damages for sums due.

Bank of America filed a suit March 30 against Benjamin M. Jones in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is the holder of a promissory note for the balance of more than $161,518.99. The suit states that the defendant failed to pay the amount as stated and has breached agreements through failing to pay.

The defendant is accused of having sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Daniel A. Reed of Seale, Smith, Zuber & Barnette LLP in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott U. Schlegel.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 770552.
