University of New Orleans alleges woman owes $1,000 for unpaid promissory note

GRETNA – A university is seeking $1,000 on an unpaid promissory note.

University of Louisiana system board of supervisors through University of New Orleans filed a suit April 11 against Christine Ann Gettle in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due on a promissory note.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking payment on a loan that the defendant failed to repay. The amount that the plaintiff is seeking totals $1,000.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Rokeya J. Morris from the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.
