Jefferson Parish residents allegedly owe over $100,000 on promissory note

GRETNA – A debt collector is seeking damages for an unpaid promissory note.

LVNV Corp. filed a suit April 12 against Andrea Marie May and James Alvin Coston in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is the holder of a promissory note for the balance of $129,200. The suit states that the defendant failed to pay the plaintiff back for the whole sum and still owes $117,463.11 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of failing to pay off the promissory note.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by J. Donald Morgan of Kizer, Hood and Morgan LLP in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle M. Taylor.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 770976.
