Lujac Construction LLC alleged to owe more than $60,000 to Briggs Equipment

NEW ORLEANS – A Mandeville corporation is accused of failing to pay for goods and services provided by a Dallas company.

Briggs Equipment Inc. filed a complaint on April 13 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana against Lujac Construction LLC and Ronald G. Rhodes alleging failure to pay.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between December 2015 and May 2016, plaintiff provided goods and services to defendants at rates and costs agreed upon. To date, the total amount of $63,526.85 allegedly remains due and owing. The plaintiff holds Lujac Construction LLC and Rhodes responsible because despite amicable demand, defendants allegedly refused to pay the balance due on their account.

The plaintiff seeks judgment be entered in its favor in the full amount of $63,526.85, plus accrued interest, costs, attorneys’ fees, interest and all legal and equitable relief. It is represented by Miles C. Thomas and Dan Centner of Lugenbuhl, Wheaton, Peck, Rankin & Hubbard in New Orleans.
