Jefferson Parish man allegedly failed to pay for semester at Nicholls State

GRETNA – A university is seeking over $2,000.

University of Louisiana system board of supervisors through Nicholls State University filed a suit April 26 against Aaron Jones of Jefferson Parish in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking payment of a balance due on an account. The defendant, who was a student during the fall 2013 semester, allegedly failed to pay $2,018.

The defendant is accused of an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Rokeya J. Morris of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 771462.
