NEW ORLEANS – A university is seeking payment of a promissory note.
University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through University of New Orleans filed a lawsuit April 24 against Alvin Ray White Jr. of Orleans Parish in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging suit on a promissory note.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff issued a promissory note to the defendant for the balance of $1,539.93. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance of the note, however.
The defendant is accused of sums due.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Wendy Ramnarine.
The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Clare Jupiter.
