ASI Federal Credit Union seeks over $20,000 for purchase of Chevrolet Camero

NEW ORLEANS – A credit union is seeking damages for an unpaid note.

ASI Federal Credit Union filed a lawsuit April 27 against Briyan Whitney and Aaron Mitchell in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging sums due.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is the holder of a promissory note for a 2016 Chevrolet Camero. The suit states that the defendant failed to make full payment of the note and still is indebted to the plaintiff for $21,765.31 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of sums due on the note.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Jules A. Fontana III of Fontana & Fontana LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Christopher J. Bruno.
