Jefferson Federal Credit Union claims Orleans Parish residents didn't pay promissory note in full

NEW ORLEANS – A credit union is seeking over $20,000.

Jefferson Financial Federal Credit Union, also known as Jefferson Federal Credit Union, filed a lawsuit May 3 against Charminetta Alexander and Eron Rousell of Orleans Parish in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging sums due.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff issued a promissory note to the defendants for the balance of $18,497.12. The suit states that the defendants have failed to pay off the balance of the note and are indebted for $20,079.91.

The defendants are accused of sums due.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. is represented by attorney Joseph M. Mouton II of D'Aquila, Contreras & Vega in Kenner

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Tiffany G. Chase.
