Bank of America claims Jefferson Parish woman failed to pay over $15,000

GRETNA – Bank of America is seeking damages for an open account.

Bank of America N.A. filed a suit May 10 against Monica L. Guercio of Jefferson Parish in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account on a credit account. The defendant has allegedly failed to pay off $15,701.31.

The defendant is accused of having an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jeffrey M. Toepfer of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott U. Schlegel.
