New Orleans Firemen's Federal Credit Union seeking overdue payments from Mississippi residents

GRETNA – A credit union is seeking varying sums totaling more than $40,000.

New Orleans Firemen's Federal Credit Union filed a suit May 22 against Helen Bourgeois of Picayune, Mississippi, and Cody Bourgeois of Kiln, Mississippi, in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account of the amounts of $22,043.02, $20,051.59, $6,441.38, $2,013.18 and $31.81.

The defendant is accused of failing to pay off the balance owed.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Joseph M. Mouton II of D'Aquila, Contreras & Vega in Kenner.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle M. Taylor.

The 24th Judicial District Court case number 772359.
