BrowneLaw claims Orleans Parish man failed to pay for representation

NEW ORLEANS – A law firm is seeking payment of nearly $90,000.

BrowneLaw LLC filed a lawsuit against Terrence R. Scott of Orleans Parish May 24 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging open account.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account of $87,995.12. The suit states that the defedant had a fire at his property and that the plaintiff represented him in his case, but the law firm claims it was never paid.

The defendant is accused of having an open account.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorneys Pierre F. Gremillion of the Law Offices of Pierre F. Gremillion in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Ethel S. Julien.
