Spartan Building alleges condo association never paid for work completed

GRETNA – A building company is seeking damages of more than $300,000 for work completed.

Spartan Building Corp. filed a suit May 31 against Chardonnay Village Condominium Association Inc. in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging an open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account that the defendant has failed to pay for work that the plaintiff completed. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay the plaintiff for the balance of $301,750.58.

The defendant is accused of an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Robert C. Lehman of The Law Offices of Robert C. Lehman LLC in Mandeville.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius E. Regan.
