NEW ORLEANS – A community college is seeking nearly $1,500 from a student.
Louisiana Community and Technical College system board of supervisors through Delgado Community College filed a lawsuit May 30 against Theresa M. Russell of Orleans Parish in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging open account.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking payment of an open account with a balance of $1,412. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay the plaintiff was owed.
The defendant is accused of having an open account.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by Meghan N. Beal of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Clare Jupiter.
