Loop Linen Service claims bar owes more than $22,000

GRETNA – A linen service company is seeking more than $22,000 for sums due and breach of contract.

Loop Linen Service Inc. filed a suit June 12 against The Pelican House Tap Room and Whiskey Bar, Dram & Branch Management Group LLC and Tabatha Cody, individually, in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking payment for services issued to the defendants from January 2015 to June 2017. The suit states that the defendants have discontinued requesting the plaintiff's services but have failed to pay all of the sums due. The plaintiff is seeking payment of $22,429.54.

The defendant is accused of sums due and breach of contract.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Michael S. Futrell of Connick and Connick LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry G. Sullivan Jr.
