Bottom Line Equipment claims Calcasieu Parish-based company failed to pay for rental

NEW ORLEANS – An equipment company is seeking damages for an open account on rentals.

Bottom Line Equipment LLC filed a lawsuit June 15 against KCK Equipment LLC in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging an open account.

According to the complaint, Calcasieu Parish-based KCK Equipment rented equipment to the defendant for use on a project. The suit states that the defendant failed to pay the full amount that it owed for the rental. The plaintiff is seeking payment of $20,645.63.

The defendant is accused of having an open account.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Donald Mau of Smiley Law Firm LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Nakisha Ervin-Knott.
