GRETNA – A disaster recovery unit is seeking damages for sums due.
The state of Louisiana, Division of Administration, Office of Community Development-Disaster Recovery Unit filed a suit June 26 against Michelle Diane Cronin in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages, claiming the defendant breached an agreement and failed to use a $30,000 grant to modify her home.
The defendant is accused of sums due and breach of agreement.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by John C. Walsk of Shows, Cali & Walsh LLP in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.
