Whole Foods allegedly failed to take safety measures

NEW ORLEANS — An individual is seeking damages after slipping and falling at a Whole Foods location.

Zenai Quinton filed a lawsuit on July 3 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Whole Foods Company Inc., alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff was a guest at a Whole Foods location in New Orleans on July 8, 2016 when the plaintiff slipped and fell on a liquid on the ground.

The plaintiff alleges that the store did not clean up or warn patrons of the liquid. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for failing to warn of the danger, clean up the mess and for overall negligence.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Kelly S. Love of the Law Offices of Pius A. Obioha & Associates LLC in New Orleans.
