Southeastern Louisiana University seeking damages for nearly $2,000

NEW ORLEANS – A university is seeking nearly $2,000 from an Orleans Parish resident.

University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through Southeastern Louisiana University filed a lawsuit July 5 against Timothy Joseph Jr. in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging open account. 

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking payment of an open account in the balance of $1,961.86 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of having an open account.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Amy D. Richard of Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Clare Jupiter.
