Boyce Family Holdings alleges it is owed more than $300,000 for promissory notes

Late 06

NEW ORLEANS – The holder of four promissory notes alleges an Indiana man has failed to pay them in full.

Boyce Family Holdings LLC filed a complaint on June 27 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana against Todd A. Simerman alleging default under the terms of a promissory note.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in April 2014, defendant executed four promissory notes to Louisiana Services Co. LLC, who assigned the same to plaintiff. The plaintiff holds Simerman responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to make payments for the remaining balance.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant in the amount of $393,678.17, plus interest, attorney's fees and costs and all other relief to which plaintiff is entitled. It is represented by Wade P. Webster and Daniel Lichtl of Fowler Rodriguez in New Orleans.
