Wells Fargo claims Gretna man defaulted on promissory note

GRETNA – Wells Fargo is seeking damages for an unpaid promissory note.

Wells Fargo Bank N.A. filed a suit July 7 against Julio Ernesto Hernandez Sr. of Gretna in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking payment for the balance of $151,022.43 for sums due on a promissory note.

The defendant is accused of failing to pay off the note in a timely manner.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Candace Miers Bowen of Dean Morris LLC in Monroe.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.
