Standard Mortgage claims woman failed to pay over $70,000

GRETNA – A lender is seeking damages for sums due on a promissory note.

Standard Mortgage Corp. filed a suit June 14 against Kathleen M. Katsanis, also known as Kathleen Lasseigne, divorced wife by first marriage of Anthony A. Freishon, divorced wife by second marriage of John E. Carter Jr., divorced wife by third marriage of Dwayne Lasseigne, in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking payment of $73,848.40 plus interest on a promissory note.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Stacy C. Wheat of Graham, Arceneaux & Allen LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Stephen D. Enright Jr.
