Orleans Parish woman seeking damages for car crash

NEW ORLEANS – An Orleans Parish woman claims she was injured in a car accident.

Netricia Hebert filed a lawsuit against Donald Cassara III and State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co. in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging negligence and reckless driving.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place July 27, 2016. The suit states that the car accident took place at the Elysian Fields exit from Interstate 610 East in Orleans Parish. The plaintiff's car allegedly was struck from behind by the defendant, resulting in damages to her car and causing injuries.

The defendant is accused of negligence and reckless driving by following too closely, failing to see what he should have seen and overall recklessness.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney John Mark Fezio of The Voorhees Law Firm in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern A. Reese.
