Orleans Parish lawyer claims his reputation was harmed

NEW ORLEANS – An Orleans Parish lawyer is seeking damages, claiming that his reputation was harmed without reason.

John D. Sileo, individually and on behalf of John D. Sileo LLC, filed a lawsuit against Frank A. Silvestri, Damien Savoie, Silvestri & Savoie LLC, Peter Derbes and Silvestri & Massicot LLC in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging bad faith and falsifying information.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff claims the defendant's actions negatively affected his reputation because the defendants refused to allow him to contact mutual clients and allegedly spread false information about the plaintiff to clients. The suit states that despite the plaintiff's multiple attempts to resolve the issue, the defendants were unwilling to compromise.

The defendants are accused of damaging the plaintiff's reputation, bad faith and overall wrong actions.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Casey W. Moll in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Piper D. Griffin.
