Federal National Mortgage Association claims Orleans Parish couple defaulted on mortgage

NEW ORLEANS – A mortgage company is seeking damages for sums due on a promissory note.

Federal National Mortgage Association filed a lawsuit against Stephanie Saylor Benson and William Wayde Benson of Orleans Parish in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging sums due on a promissory note.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on a promissory note for an unspecified balance. The suit states that the defendants have defaulted on mortgage payments.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Stacy C. Wheat of Graham, Arceneaux & Allen LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Ethel S. Julien.
