Bank seeks nearly $30,000 on note

NEW ORLEANS – A bank seeks nearly $30,000 for an unpaid promissory note.

Whitney Bank filed a lawsuit July 17 against Sue Parker and Laurence L. Boudreaux in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging sums due on a promissory note.

According to the complaint, the defendant has failed to pay off the sums due to Whitney Bank for the balance of $20,995.19, plus interest of $8,896.75 and associated fees.

Whitney Bank seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. 

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Nakisha Ervin-Knott.
