NEW ORLEANS – A finance company claims a customer owes more than $63,000.
CIT Finance LLC filed a lawsuit against Davltd LLC in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging sums due.
According to the complaint, beginning in May 2014 the defendant agreed to make six monthly payments of $99 followed by 36 payments of $2,238.50. The suit states that the defendant breached the agreement by failing to pay for what they agreed to. The suit explains that the defendant still is indebted to the plaintiff for $63,132.79 plus $1,119.25 in late fees.
The defendant is accused of sums due and breach of an agreement.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorneys Richard A. Aguilar and Mark J. Chaney III of McGlinghey Stafford PLLC in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Cherrell S. Taplin.
