Louisiana equipment company seeking more than $45,000 in outstanding charges

NEW ORLEANS – An equipment company is seeking damages for breach of contract and an open account.

Bottom Line Equipment LLC filed a lawsuit against Ultra Lane Ltd. and Scott Bridges in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff entered into an agreement with the defendant in which the plaintiff would rent equipment to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant used equipment but allegedly failed to pay the plaintiff for usage. The defendant is indebted for the balance of $45,618.25.

The defendant is accused of having an open account and breach of contract.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorneys Seth J. Smiley, Bradley Aldrich, Matt Thomas, Donald A. Mau of Smiley Law Firm LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge Robin M. Giarrusso.
