GRETNA – Southern University alleges a former student owes nearly $3,000.
The Southern University, Board of Supervisors, through Southern University-Baton Rouge, filed a suit July 21 against Jamie Terrelle Hardy in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.
According to the claim, Hardy has failed to pay for attending Southern. The suit states Hardy is indebted to the university for the balance of $2,802.88, plus interest.
Southern University seeks all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney Amy D. Richard of Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.
