Funding company seeks nearly $3,000 from Sam's Club account

GRETNA –A funding company alleges a customer has failed to pay off an open account at Sam's Club of nearly $3,000.

Midland Funding LLC filed a suit July 20 against Kermit Williams in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due. According to the claim, Midland seeks payment of an overdue Sam's Club account which currently holds the balance of $2,960.21.

Williams is accused of an open account.

Midland Funding seeks all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney Gregory M. Eaton of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle M. Taylor.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 774211.
