American Express claims Orleans Parish resident owes over $30,000

NEW ORLEANS – American Express is seeking damages for sums due.

American Express Centurion Bank filed a lawsuit against Maureen Riddle of Orleans Parish in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account on an American Express Centurion Bank card for the balance of $31,621.19 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of having an open account.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Blake J. Guidry of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Paulette R. Irons.
