Slip02

NEW ORLEANS – A woman staying at a New Orleans hotel alleges she was injured because of a wet floor.

Ming L. Demmerle filed a lawsuit July 25 against G6 Hospitality LLC, doing business as Studio 6 Extended Stay, in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff states that on Aug. 4, 2016, while at the defendant's property located at 12330 I-10 Service Road, New Orleans, the plaintiff was caused to slip and fall in a puddle on the floor. The suit states the floor was wet because an employee had mopped and failed to dry or warn of the floor's conditions.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Michael J. Begoun of Wolfe, Begoun & Pick LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge Robin M. Giarrusso.
